We believe that learning should be so interesting that a child finds it to be both engaging and meaningful. That is why we emphasize Project Based Learning at Stedwick. While creating their projects our students learn reading, math, social studies, and science –but they also learn to problem solve, to speak and write with clear expression of their thoughts, and to collaborate with others.

Project Based Learning allows our children to be prepared for the future as unique individuals. Our projects go beyond STEM to also encompass the Arts, Literature, and Social Events. The highlights of Project Based Learning are:

  • Common Core alignment
  • Small group instruction
  • Technology integration
  • Co-taught classrooms
  • Hands-on, inquiry based learning.

Our Project Based Learning creates:

  • Self-Learners
  • Logical Thinkers
  • Problem solvers
  • Researchers
