RHMS Summer School Information 2018

RHMS will have a Local Summer School Program designed to meet the needs of RHMS students. We are offering the following summer school classes from, July 9-July 27, to incoming 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th graders:
- Support Reading 6/7/8 is for rising 6th,7th, 8th graders who would benefit from extra support in strengthening reading skills.
- Support Math 6/7/8 is for rising 6th,7th, 8th graders who would benefit from extra support in strengthening math skills.
- Bridge to IM is for rising 6th graders being considered for IM and 7th graders taking IM who would benefit from extra support to prepare for IM.
- Bridge to Algebra is for rising 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students who would benefit from extra support to prepare for Algebra or took Related Math in 7th grade.
The courses will be held July 9–July 27, 2018. Student hours are 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. There is a $272 fee for this program, and transportation services will be available for those students eligible for bus transportation during the regular school year.
Buses will follow routes similar to activity bus routes, but specific stops will be arranged and the established routes will be available before the start of classes.
In order to provide our Local Summer School Program, the courses must have full enrollment of 25 students per class.
If we do not have full enrollment by June 15, 2018, courses may be cancelled and full refunds will be issued.
