Summer Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program

The Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program (YALP) is RETURNING THIS SUMMER to Richard Montgomery High School! YALP is the high school version of the internationally renowned Dale Carnegie Course and teaches life skills in communication, interpersonal skills, public speaking, stress management, and self-confidence.  


Class is filled on a first come first serve basis. Limited seating.


The course schedule at Richard Montgomery is as follows:  

Friday. May 31 Orientation – 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.  (RMHS cafeteria)

Sun. Jun 2 Session 1 – 11:30 – 3:00 p.m.   

Wed. Jun 5 Session 2 – 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Sun. Jun 9 Session 3 – 11:30-3:00 p.m.         

Fri. Jun 14 Session 4 – 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Sun. Jun 16 Session 5 – 11:30 – 3:00 p.m.  

Wed. Jun 19 Session 6 – 5:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Sun. Jun 23 Session 7 – 11:30 – 3:00 p.m.  

Wed. Jun 26 Session 8 Graduation – 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. (RMHS cafeteria)

Gain skills, strategies, and confidence in academic, social, leadership, emotion & stress management areas. Get this advice for yourself while training; then help younger students and earn SSL hours.
