Meet the Academy Head

Hello, my name is Iris Schwarz and I have been teaching for 16 years. This is my sixth year at Northwood and I am excited to teach full time in the HAM Academy. I teach three levels of video production courses and yearbook and I help to support our senior capstone research class. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my children, exploring the community, creating art projects, and conducting science experiments. I value community service and look for ways to help my students and my family stay involved in volunteering. I am looking forward to expanding the opportunities in the Humanities, Arts, and Media Academy this year. Please feel free to reach out to me with your ideas.
