GOOD MORNING NEELSVILLE KNIGHTS!

Today is Friday, March 22, 2019.

Welcome to Knights News 19!

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

  • Hey YOU! The day is here. Tonight is the night. Come out to Watkins Mill High School at 7pm to support your Neelsville Knights. The event to celebrate Montgomery Village Middle School’s 50th anniversary should be a lot of fun for all who attend! The cost is $3 per person or $10 per family. Your undefeated boys team, hard playing girls team, and goofball staff members will be showcasing their skills. Let’s make sure that the present that we give MVMS is an “L”! Remember to enter through the Neelsville door and your money will go to Trinity Alston’s family. See you there!
  • The winner of the $15 dollar chipotle card will be chosen today after D lunch.  Be sure to enter if you want to win!
  • Attention Neelsville staff and students. Spirit Wear is back on sale for the Spring! Check out our school website for the link and order form. Hurry up and get your gear today! Sale ends on April 12th!
  • In this day in women’s history…April Ryan  is the only black female reporter covering urban issues from the White House – a position she has held for over 20 years. April was born in Baltimore and went to Morgan State University. She gives back to our community by serving as a mentor to aspiring journalists, and assisting with developing “up and coming” broadcasters.  She is the author of 2 books and can be seen almost daily on television as a political analyst.
  • Come join us and be part of International Knight. You can help in many ways.
  • If you are interested in being a part of this wonderful event please see the International Knight sign-up sheet outside of Mr. Schmids’ door.
  • Attention Peer Leaders! Next Wednesday, during Community Circles, will be our March Campaign about Positive Friends. Please remember to wear your black uKnight T-shirt as we will be taking our yearbook photo directly after the campaign.
  • There is still time to turn in registration forms to be in the STEM fair.  Please ask your science teacher for more information.  All participants will be in a drawing for prizes.  You should complete steps 1-4 by March 30th!

Today’s weather will be cloudy and VERY windy with gusts of up to 40 mph.  Mid-day showers are also likely.  Temperatures will reach 50 degrees.

Please remember to wish the following students a happy birthday:
