Today is Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

Welcome to Knights News 19!

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

  •  Come join us and be part of International Knight. You can help in many ways. You can:
  • ·        Sing or dance to represent culture or a country
  • ·        Bring items or clothing from your country
  • ·        Be part of a fashion show or display a talent
  • ·        Help make display boards or posters of different countries.
  •  If you are interested in being a part of this wonderful event please see the International Knight sign-up sheet outside of Mr. Schmids’ door.
  • If you want to win the $15 Chipotle card, be sure to enter in the main office!
  •  GREEN DAY has not been forgotten!  To celebrate the beginning of Spring, when nature starts to turn green again, GREEN DAY has been moved to Thursday!!  On Thursday March 21, wear as much GREEN as you can! Don’t have a lot of green, that’s okay.  Wear what you’ve got!  Thursday, March 21 is GREEN DAY!
  • Today in women’s history…we celebrate women who see a problem in society and try to fix it. Amber Scott founded a nonprofit organization called Leap Year.  It is a company that helps low income and first generation college students be successful.  The company’s mission is to prepare young, talented students to reach their academic and leadership potential by attending college and breaking the cycle of poverty.
  • Attention Attention! Friday is only three days away. Have you made arrangements to come support the Neelsville FAM? Your Knights basketball teams will be playing the MV teams at Watkins Mill High School from 7 to 9 for the neighborhood title. Don’t miss out!

Today’s weather will be mostly sunny but chilly.  The high temperature will only reach about 50 degrees.

Please remember to wish the following students a happy birthday:

Erika Escamilla

Happy Birthday!!

Thanks for listening Knights and have a terrific Tuesday!
