Boys’ Softball
The MVMS softball team participates in the MCPSinterscholastic athletics program. Members of the softball team will practice after school every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from Sept. 10 to Nov. 6. and participate in five games with local middle schools. Prior softball experience is not necessary to tryout.

Co-ed cross country will take place in the fall. Practices are 3 times a week from 3-4:30.
We will have 4 meets, 2 of which are home and 2 that are away. We will work on team building, skill

being a leader in the school academically and emotionally.

This activity will be open to all students who attend MV.
Students will have an opportunity to come in and play various types of
basketball related activities in a non-competitive structured environment.
Students who are interested in this after-school activity need to pick up a
parent/guardian permission form located outside of the girls’ PE office.

This activity will be open to all MVMS students who would

(STEM Club)
Think of an environmental problem, big or small, that
needs to be addressed. In Invent the future, we challenge you to work with
fellow MVMS students as you create solutions to real world problems! If you
accept this challenge, your team must not only dream up an invention, but
also design and prototype that invention. Use engineering, coding, and design
techniques to turn your ideas into something tangible.

MVMS Newspaper Club will be run by students for students.
It will serve as an outlet for students to safely share their voices. It will
provide a great opportunity for our “journalists” to be creative in informing
the school community of events happening around us. The purpose of the club
is to cherish the diversity of our school and to help us build strong
relationships.
