Seal of Biliteracy Fun Fact: One purpose of the Seal of Biliteracy is to affirm native or heritage languages.

 

Hot Chocolate is Back!  The Key Club is selling Hot Chocolate before and after school during December and January.  We are located on Main Street by the gym. Help support our Einstein community and warm-up with some yummy hot chocolate for just $1.  Contact Ms. Ford for more information.

 

Einstein for Change will host a discussion about transgender rights in America TOMORROW from 3:30 -5:30 pm in the Art Gallery.  If you're cisgender, come so that you can have a better understanding of the issues that transgender people face in the United States.  If you're transgender, come so you can discuss possible solutions to issues transgender people face in a discussion moderated by transgender and cisgender facilitators.

The Jaime Escalante Honor Society will meet this Wednesday, December 5, during the 2nd half of lunch in portable 1, Ms. O'Neil's room. All those who applied and all current members should attend.

Titans - it's time for the Winter Dance & Jazz Band Concert!  Come on out to hear great music and see some amazing dancing.   The concert is Thursday December 6th at 7pm.  Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  To purchase tickets see Mr. Kelly or Ms. Gooley.

As an added bonus from 6pm on, come out and see the artwork of our VAPA Visual artists which will be on display in the auditorium lobby!

The Academy of Finance & DECA Club will be selling Holiday Grams during lunch on main street beginning on Monday, Dec.3rd thru Friday, Dec. 14th.  All Holiday Grams will be delivered on Dec. 18th & 19th (Tues & Wed)

Each holiday Gram will consist of a 9' inch teddy bear, gift bag, special message & treat. The Cost is $5.

 

The Book Club will be meeting TOMORROW during lunch in room 228.  Join us in reading The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.  Contact Ms. Ford for more information.

THE BOCCE BALL TEAM WILL HAVE ITS FIRST OFFICIAL PRACTICE TODAY. ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED PLEASE MEET IN ROOM 162 AFTER SCHOOL. ALSO MAKE SURE IF YOU HAVE NOT REGISTERED FOR THE TEAM ONLINE THAT YOU DO SO ASAP. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT MR. DONOHUE IN ROOM 149.

 

If you are interested in taking a Dual Enrollment course at Montgomery College, for 2nd semester, summer session or Fall 2019, please see Ms. Mackey on Main Street during your lunch thru Dec. 14th for more details.

 

 

There will be a meeting of THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, at lunch EVERY Friday  in room 263.  All those interested in the relevance of Christianity are welcome to attend.

All our welcome to come speak French during the first half of lunch on Fridays in Room 28 for our French conversation club.  All levels of speakers are welcome, from novice to native.

 

 

Hey Seniors!  Are you excited to graduate this June?!?!?  Well guess what - before you graduate, you need to pay your senior dues!  Senior dues are $50, and can be paid to Varner in room 216 with cash or a check, or you can pay online using the "Make School Payments Online" link on the AEHS website - but online payments have a processing fee attached.  Make sure you get your senior dues in before the winter break deadline!  See Mr. Varner if you have any question in room 216, at Einstein High School, "The Place to Be…..graduating from, after paying your $50 senior dues."

 

Mondays during lunch in Room 28, French Honor Society members are available to help students who are currently taking a French course and want additional support.

SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES COMING UP:  

•The Pepco Guiding Light Leadership Scholarship is open to seniors with a 3.0 GPA and awards $2.5K till December 6th.
•The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship is open to all seniors with a 3.0 GPA and awards $2.5K till December 7th.
•The Montgomery College Macklin Business Institute scholarship is open to seniors with a 3.0 GPA, majoring in business and awards a fully paid tuition till Jan 7th.
