Seal of Biliteracy Fun Fact: One purpose of the Seal of Biliteracy is to encourage students to attain high proficiency levels in one or more languages in addition to English.

 

Want to meet some big Broadway stars, hear them perform and talk about their careers? Would you like to get a selfie with a Tony Award winner?  Your chance comes TOMORROW, when Einstein welcomes ArtSpeak to our auditorium!  We'll welcome Jessie Mueller, the star of Waitress and Beautiful,  and Liz Callaway, the voice of Anastasia and star of many Broadway shows - 7pm in the auditiorium and it's FREE and open to the public!  This is is a unique opportunity to meet some amazingly talented performers, hear them sing and chat with them personally!  See you there!

Einstein STAGE invites you to get involved in the spring musical - we're proud to announce a production of the world-famous musical OLIVER! next March.  It's based on the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist and has one of the greatest scores ever written for the Broadway stage.  Please come to an info meeting THURSDAY, November 29th after school in the choral room, 192.  Potential actors, singers, dancers and technical staff are invited to come and hear about the show and the process of putting it together.

Attention 9th and 10th graders! If you are interested in Thomas Edison High School, the counseling department will be hosting a field trip to their open house on December 4th from 7:45am to 10:45am. There is no cost for the field trip, and we have a maximum capacity of 25 students. If you want to learn more about one of Edison's eighteen highly acclaimed career and technology education programs, stop by the counseling office and ask your counselor for a permission form. It is first come first serve, so get your permission slips in before December 3rd!

There will be a quick meeting at the beginning of lunch on Tuesday in Western's room - 153. We will discuss outside lacrosse on Wednesday and the winter lacrosse league. Again, all lax players please report to Westerns room at the beginning of lunch on Tuesday.

 

The Project Happiness club is meeting TOMORROW at lunch in room 138. Our new books and video from the International organization have arrived! Please join us to plan a happiness project at Einstein!

 

Hey Seniors!  Are you excited to graduate this June?!?!?  Well guess what - before you graduate, you need to pay your senior dues!  Senior dues are $50, and can be paid to Varner in room 216 with cash or a check, or you can pay online using the "Make School Payments Online" link on the AEHS website - but online payments have a processing fee attached.  Make sure you get your senior dues in before the winter break deadline!  See Mr. Varner if you have any question in room 216, at Einstein High School, "The Place to Be…..graduating from, after paying your $50 senior dues."

WELL, WHOEVER IT WAS THAT INSPIRED YOU, SENIORS, YOU NEED TO TURN IN YOUR SENIOR QUOTE NO LATER THAN MONDAY, DECEMBER 3RD TO MR. KAVLOCK IN ROOM 149. All our welcome to come speak French during the first half of lunch on Fridays in Room 28 for our French conversation club.  All levels of speakers are welcome, from novice to native.

 

 

Mondays during lunch in Room 28, French Honor Society members are available to help students who are currently taking a French course and want additional support.
