S-A-T WORD OF THE DAY:  

 

The Maryland State General Assembly Page Program is now accepting applications for the 2018-19 school year. Students will have the opportunity to participate as Pages for the Md. State Assembly. The program is designed to: interest students in state government, foster leadership, and provide a vital service to the legislature. Each Page will serve in either the State House of Delegates or State Senate. Duties include: Keeping members Bill books up to date, running errands, delivering messages and materials to members. 

Deadline: October 26, 2018. Please see Mrs. Lehman in the Career Center for more information and a application.

 

Good Morning titans! Come to Main Street today to reserve your time slot for the fall blood drive. Donate your blood to a person in need. The drive will take place on October 17th. See you during lunch!

 

Are you interested in politics? Want to debate current events? Come join The Moderates! The Moderates is a club that  will debate and discuss current political topics in the news.

 

Our interest meeting will be held during lunch in room 154 on Tuesday, October 16. There is no commitment, and everyone and their political views are welcome!

 

Hey Titans! Are you going to homecoming? Do you want to avoid the ticket line? Then BUY your tickets online --- this week only. Visit the AEHS website and click on "Online School Payments." Your tickets will be ready for pick-up NEXT Monday, October 15th.

Ticket sales for everyone else will start next week, during lunch and after school. You MUST clear all school obligations before purchasing a ticket.

Bringing a guest from another school? Please pick up a guest form outside Ms. Moore's door --- room 205. The guest forms are also located on the school website. All guest forms MUST BE FAXED back to our school by Thursday, October 18th at noon.

 

There will be a meeting of THE CHRISTIAN CLUB, at lunch EVERY Friday  in room 263.  All those interested in the relevance of Christianity are welcome to attend.

Einstein students and parents are invited to attend the College Financial Aid Night at Einstein High School on Tuesday, October 16th at 7:00pm. Learn about the financial aid process and have your questions answered. Additionally, you will receive guidance regarding the process on completing and submitting the FAFSA forms. Completing the FAFSA gives you access to the largest sources of financial aid to pay for your college or career. Sessions will be held in English and Spanish.

 

Do you like writing and delivering speeches or poems? Are you interested in being in shows at Einstein; but want to practice your acting skills? Then Forensics is the club for you!  We are a competitive speaking and acting club that competes against school across the county.  Come to Ms. Shipley's room at lunch on Wednesdays to find out more! 

 

Are you interested in supporting the LGBTQ community at Einstein?  Stop by Ms. Shipley's room 168 at lunch on Thursdays to find out more info!

 

Seniors!  We will be working on homecoming decorations after school every day until Homecoming!  We can work until 6:00 most days, so come out and help after practice and rehearsal!

 

Class of 2022 will have a meeting every Tuesday to discuss homecoming plans. If you are interested in class offices, powderpuff or helping with homecoming hallway decorations, come to room 152 at the beginning of lunch.

•Hispanic Heritage Youth Award is open to all Seniors with a unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher till October 15th.
•Omega Psi Phi Essay Scholarship is open to male seniors till October 19th and Awards up to $5,000.
•The Horatio Alger Scholarship is open to Seniors with a 2.0 GPA attending a 4 year college til October 25th.
