S-A-T WORD OF THE DAY:  

 

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Originally starting 1968 as a one week celebration, we now dedicate a month to this celebration - from September 15th to October 15th. Hispanic Heritage Month specifically starts in the middle of the month because the 15th marks the independence day of five Latin American countries. We, the student leadership class, are looking for student performers and models to participate in upcoming presentations. If interested, please see Ms. Moore in room 205.

 

The International Honors Council will have its first meeting TODAY in room 152. If you were a member last year please come to the meeting at the first half of lunch.

 

The Happiness Club welcomes you to a new school year! Come join us in room 138 for our kick off meeting on Wednesday, September 26. We will brainstorm ideas for creative projects to do this school year in an effort to spread happiness! Have a great day! J

The French Honor Society will have its first meeting TODAY in Room 28 during the first half of lunch.  All of last year's members must attend.  Students who are interested in joining are invited to come to the meeting to get applications and learn about the group.

 

Are you interested in K-Pop? Want to know more about the Korean music genre? Come to an interest meeting for the K-Pop Club on Tuesday, September 25th in room 260 during the first half of lunch. Hope to see you there!

 

Attention future lawyers! Do you like to argue? Do you like watching courtroom dramas like Law and Order? Are you interested in going to law school someday?  If you answered yes, then join the Einstein Mock Trial team!  There will be an interest TODAY in Room 154 during the first half of lunch for anyone interested in joining Mock Trial.  Please see Mr. Nappo with any questions.

 

If you've ever dreamed of building a rocket and launching it skyward, dream no more! Maybe just dream a little smaller. You could win $2000 by building your own Alka-Seltzer rocket.  Science club will be meeting today in room 218 first half of lunch with more details. Everyone is welcome!

 

Do you like writing and delivering speeches or poems? Are you interested in being in shows at Einstein; but want to practice your acting skills? Than Forensics is the club for you!  We are a competitive speaking and acting club that competes against school across the county.  Come to Ms. Shipley's room at lunch on Wednesdays to find out more! 

 

Are you interested in supporting the LGBTQ community at Einstein?  Stop by Ms. Shipley's room 168 at lunch on Thursdays to find out more info!

 

Interested in women's rights and international relations? Looking for a fun way to discuss important topics during lunch? Come to the first meeting of Girls Learn International (GLI) TODAY in Room 144, Ms. Shaffer's room during the first half of lunch. All genders welcome!

 

Did you know there is an honor society JUST for artists?! Do you like making art and making a difference in your community? The National Arts Honor Society is taking applications until Oct 2nd. Applications can be found outside Mrs. Harnish's Classroom- Room 38.

 

The Christian Club is sponsoring "See You At The Pole". This is a national, non-denominational, prayer event scheduled for Wednesday, September 26 in the morning at 7:20 a.m at the Pole in front of our Main Entrance Door.   The event will conclude at 7:35 a.m. All faculty, staff, and students of Albert Einstein are welcome to attend.

 

Seniors!! It's Homecoming Season!  This is our last year to show off - if you want to keep the hallway decoration trophy, come to room 216 after school TODAY!  We will be working on our big decoration projects every Tuesday and Thursday in September.  See you there!
