A Century of Excellence
The 2017-18 school year marked a major milestone in CCES' history. From its humble beginnings as a schoolhouse on Bradley Lane in 1917, CCES has grown into leading MCPS school, incorporating innovative teaching methods and culturally proficient mindsets within its diverse community of students, parent and staff. In celebration of its rich 100-year history, the community delved into learning about the people, times and ways of thinking and being that made CCES the school it is today.
