- The Positive Challenge
- To support our on-going focus on “Pawsitive” attitudes here at Baker we will be having A Positive Challenge in March. For The Positive Challenge each student will be given a positive postcard to decorate the morning of March 23rd. We challenge each student to think of one positive thing to write on the card. It can be something about themselves that they are proud of, or a positive thing a friend, teacher, or family member has done. They can draw a picture, write it out, color it, etc. If students would like to take their card home Monday night (March 23rd) and return it to their first period teacher on Tuesday, March 24th that is fine.
- Then on March 24th everyone is invited to stay after school for The Positive Challenge. On that afternoon staff and students will be decorating a wall in the cafeteria with the positive postcards. Our goal is to have at least 1 positive item from every person in the building. We will also paint pictures showing examples of positive acts, and write up positive thoughts and quotes on the wall. We challenge every student at Baker to be positive and join us for an afternoon of fun.
- Pennies for Patients
- The SGA will be raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the Pennies for Patients Program during the month of April. We will be collecting money through 1st period classes and we will provide an incentive for the classes with the highest percentage of donations.
