Good morning

Students and Parents going to the Costa Rica trip this summer, there will be a mandatory meeting on June 6th at 5:30pm! This will be the last meeting, before our trip, therefore it will be very important for students and parents to attend.  We will be going over last minute information that needs to be addressed and a great opportunity to meet and greet everyone that will be going to the trip! Any forms, tip money not turned, please plan have them in before our meeting. Nos Vemos!

Mrs. McMillen's period 7 computer class should report to room 117 today only.

“LAST CHANCE, if you are interested in trying out for the 2012-2013 Damascus Hornet Cheer leading Squad you MUST attend the mandatory information meeting on Tuesday, May 14th in Room 120 from 6-7PM at DHS (across from the auditorium).”
"According to a non-profit organization, Feeding America, over 20 million children participated in the free or reduced priced school meal program in FY 2010. However, less than 3 million children received meals during those summer months, largely due to the lack of local programs. To help our own community families meet their nutritional needs over the summer, the SGA has decided to run a food drive to help stock the shelves of Damascus Help. Please help the SGA meet this lesser known challenge in America.
Canned meats/fish
Boxed Mac n Cheese
Canned fruit & veggies
Pastas and
… These are just some of the items that we can help supply to help our own neighbors in need. SGA students will be collecting food while students are lined up in the morning waiting for entry into classrooms, May 14 – 18. Please help. If you have any questions, you can contact either Davey Creegan or one of your grade level VPs."

Other news from the SGA is the announcement of Spirit week this same coming week of May 14!

Tuesday will be DAMASCUS DAY (Where something that means Damascus to you!)
Wed is OCCUPATION DAY (Wear something reflecting what you want to be when you grow up!)
