Superintendent Jack Smith will hold his first monthly media briefing  on Thursday, October 18, at 10 a.m. to discuss key focus areas for MCPS for the 2018-2019 school year. He also will highlight initiatives and programs that are in place to address equity.

The media briefing will take place in Room 110 of Carver Educational Services Center, 850 Hungerford Drive in Rockville.

Superintendent Smith will meet monthly with members of the media to answer questions, discuss important topics for the MCPS community, and highlight initiatives and programs for the district’s 163,000 students.
