Reminder: MCPS and KID Museum to Launch STEM Challenge Tomorrow (Nov. 30)

November 29, 2017

Community leaders will join students from Argyle Middle School as they begin the invention process for the Invent the Future Challenge, a project-based, maker-learning competition for students. The challenge brings hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities to children across the Washington, D.C. region. Through a new public-private partnership between Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and the KID Museum, students in every MCPS middle school will have these opportunities. The challenge includes scholarships for intensive, skill-building workshops for economically disadvantaged students and students traditionally underrepresented in STEM.
