The Board of Education has requested community comment regarding its Policy IED, Framework and Structure of High School Education. The policy sets forth guidelines to staff and community for the organization of high schools and delivery of instructional programs that set high expectations for academic achievement for all students. The policy was updated to align with recent revisions to related policies on early childhood/elementary education and middle school education.

Individuals who wish to provide comments should respond in writing by Monday, June 14, 2010. All responses should be sent to the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 850 Hungerford Drive, Room 122, Rockville, Maryland 20850. The responses will be shared with the members of the Board of Education.
