ROCKVILLE, MD – The Montgomery County Board of Education voted 5 to 3, Thursday, January 25, 2007, to reverse the decision of Superintendent Jerry D. Weast in the matter involving the use of Jericho City of Praise church as a graduation venue for Montgomery Blair High School.

The Blair High School PTSA had requested to the use of the church as a graduation venue in a letter to Dr. Weast. Dr. Weast denied their request and the PTSA appealed the decision to the Board of Education.
