Board Seeks Student for Family Life Committee

The Montgomery County Board of Education is seeking public high school students interested in serving on the Citizens Advisory Committee on Family Life and Human Development. The committee serves in an advisory capacity to consult with professional educators within the school system in the course of their developing, implementing, and evaluating the family life and human development program.

Student appointments are for one year (July through June) as an at-large member of the committee. Members serve without compensation. All interested students are encouraged to apply. All applicants must be bona fide residents of Montgomery County and be a student at a high school in Montgomery County Public Schools.

Applications must be received by close of business on Friday, May 12, 2006, for appointments to be made by the Board of Education at the Board meeting on June 13, 2006.
