Dear Parents and Guardians,

MCPS has been made aware of a post/email that is circulating on social media alleging that there have been sexual assaults at several MCPS schools. We want to assure you that these allegations are completely false and this message was not sent by MCPS. We are working to determine the source of this post and will provide an update once we have more information. We encourage you to contact the MCPS Department of Systemwide Safety and Emergency Management at 240-740-3066 if you have any information on this incident. 

We understand how troubling it is to see such allegations posted about our school communities. Please know that the safety of our students is our top priority.
