Partnership Programs and Graduates Honored

Higher education partners and partnership graduates were honored at a Board of Education reception. A total of 195 staff and teachers graduated during 2007–2008 from programs at 11 colleges and universities that train support staff to become teachers and allow professional staff to earn master’s degrees and certifications.

Sandra Buitrago, a University of Maryland partnership program graduate, chats with program liaison Linda Valli. Buitrago, a former long-term substitute, will teach Spanish at Wheaton HS this fall.
