MCPS values the volunteers who work in our schools to enrich our students’ experiences. As a community, we all are mindful of our shared responsibility to create safe, nurturing environments for our students. The district has developed training for all volunteers learn about recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect. This online training will take about 30 minutes to complete. In addition to the online training, volunteers also have the option to participate in an in-person training session. The sessions will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at locations across the county.
