MCPS Wins Prestigious Federal Grant for New Curriculum


Montgomery County Public Schools has won a $5 million federal innovation grant to help support the ongoing development of a curriculum for elementary students that will fully integrate the core subjects of reading and math with science, social studies, and the arts. MCPS is one of just 49 winners of the highly competitive grants from among nearly 1,700 applicants. The integrated curriculum will be developed and implemented over the next three years.
