Student Town Hall Meetings

Superintendent Joshua Starr held three Student Town Hall events throughout the 2013-2014 school year. 2 of the events were held at middle schools (A. Mario Loiederman and Rosa Parks) and one was held at a high school (Northwood). Dr. Starr started the Student Town Halls in 2011 to hear directly from students and give them a chance to ask questions and share their thoughts. Questions and comments came from the live studio audience, as well as from students who submitted questions by email or via Twitter. The high school Student Town Halls were broadcast on MCPS TV and webcast on the MCPS website.
