Montgomery County Public Schools to Close Wednesday Before Thanksgiving, Nov. 24

Dear MCPS Community,

Today the Board of Education passed a resolution to close all schools and offices on Wednesday, November 24, the day before Thanksgiving. November 24 was originally scheduled to be an early-release day for all staff and students. Schools and offices will now be closed from Wednesday, November 24 through Friday, November 26. Child care may be available as originally scheduled; please check with the provider for details. Schools and offices will reopen on Monday, November 29. We hope you are able to take some time to rest and recharge during the extended Thanksgiving Break.
