| TweenTribune is free and jam packed with current news stories that are chosen by site coordinators from the Associated Press for the "tween" (age 8-14) audience. Middle school audiences will find the articles easy to read and relate to. The site is easy to navigate with a subject indexed toolbar and it is searchable. Subscription Websites:
Some of the websites listed require a paid subscription. MCPS holds a subscription for all sites listed on this page, except where noted. If you are an MCPS teacher, you can obtain login and password information from your school media specialist. In some cases, you will not need to log in at all if you are using an MCPS computer.
