Emergency Procedures

In the event of an emergency:

  • Call fire, police, and/or medical emergency authorities first (if applicable).
  • Have qualified personnel shut off affected utilities (if available).
  • Call your supporting Maintenance Depot. After normal operations hours, call Systemwide Safety and Emergency Management at 240-740-3066 and ask them to notify Maintenance Depot personnel.
  • Call any other personnel that you are required to notify.

If you need after-hours support:

  • Call Systemwide Safety and Emergency Management at 240-740-3066.
  • Report the location and nature of the problem.
  • Provide a point-of-contact name, work location, and telephone number for follow-up.
  • School Security will contact Maintenance Personnel. Do not attempt to contact depot personnel directly.
