Registration for CHSSP is CLOSED.
Students who are in need of recovering credit for "B" semester courses in which they are currently enrolled should contact their school counselor to enroll in those courses by June 18.
ESOL students will be able to take English for ELs and ELD Seminar courses that allow them to earn make-up credits to recover English or elective credits that were not earned during the SY 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, based on needed English credits. Most ESOL students will only be able to earn original credits for half credits that they are missing from this school year and last school year. For example, if a student entered in Semester 2 and has earned a half credit for English 9 for ELs 1B and they were not here to earn credit in English 9 for ELs 1A, they will be able to take this half a credit for original credit. The curriculum resources used in the ELD seminar will be aligned to the Grade 11 ELD curriculum resources.
Additionally, older ESOL students who are 19 years old will be able to take up to one full credit of English for original credit this summer. Please note that these cases will be decided on via a case-by-case basis with permission from the ESOL supervisor. Please reach out regarding any specific student cases for discussion and decision.
