This dashboard includes data on the number of MCPS high school students who took International Baccalaureate (IB) exam by student group in the last three years. The IB exam is a standardized test that is developed by The IB Organization and is used to assess students’ mastery of IB course content. An IB exam score ranges from 1 to 7 and a score of 4 or higher is considered indicative of a student’s ability to perform satisfactorily at the college level. The number of students who scored at least a 4 or higher and the percent of students who scored 4 or higher on an IB exam are provided on this dashboard. Additionally, the percent taking one, two, three, four, or five or more IB exams are reported.
