This dashboard includes data on the number of Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) exam taken by MCPS high school students by student group in the last three years. AP or IB exams are standardized tests that measures students’ mastery of AP/IB related course content. An AP exam score of 3 or higher or an IB exam score of 4 or higher indicates a student is ready for college-level course work. The number and percent of AP or IB exams taken by high school students who scored 3 or higher on an AP exam or 4 or higher on an IB exam are reported on this dashboard.
