Congratulations to "Our House," the recipient of the 2018 computer lab

Thank you to all of the applicants who applied for the computer lab from the Montgomery County Students Information Technology Foundation (ITF). This year's computer lab recipient, Our House, Inc., is located in Brookeville, Maryland. Our House is a unique, all male, residential program that has the capability to house up to sixteen participants. Currently at 75% capacity, Our House lacks the technology and resources to help their participants become technologically literate and acquire employability skills.

According to Our House's vision statement, their mission is to "provide an opportunity for at-risk adolescents to become happy, healthy, and productive." They strive to "inspire youth by opening their minds to the incredible potential that is within them and helping that potential to unfold." With the donation of this computer lab, Our House will offer young men opportunities to earn industry standard certifications, as well as promote career and college readiness.

We are looking forward to awarding the computer lab to Our House during a ceremony on November 15, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Clarksburg High School.
