Your child’s teacher will determine
which online platform to use and communicate the platform with families. Your
child’s teacher will be in touch with you by Wednesday to schedule a time to
meet virtually for the first class meeting.
In an effort to maintain consistency and
support, all schools will use lessons and resources from the Eureka Math and
Benchmark Advance curricula.
In this remote learning structure, daily
learning will not be equivalent to a six-hour day. On average, students in
Grades K-2 will complete approximately 1.5-2 hours of work per day and students
in Grades 3-5 will complete approximately 2.5-3 hours or work per day. This
time is divided into three parts: viewing the central lessons, live time with
the teacher and completing independent work.
