| You will take the Unit 2 Assessment on Friday, December 17. YOU MUST MEMORIZE THE INFORMATIO FOR THIS TEST. For this assessment, you must know how to identify polygons, types of angles, types of triangles, types of polyhedra. You must also know how to measure angles with a protractor and how to draw a circle with a compass. You must know the parts of a circle (center, chord, radius, and diameter). You must know how to calculate the circumference and area of a circle. Finally, you must know how to calculate perimeter and area of a triangle, rectangle, parallelogram, and trapezoid. |
Practice the division facts. There will be a division Mad Minute quiz this week. There will be 30 division facts to solve in one minute. Congratulations to these students who solved 30 division facts in one minute: Carina, Kennedy, Andrew, Mizuki, Spencer, Katie, David, Vijay, and Sophia. These students solved 40 division facts in one minute: Je, Sabrina. Congratulations to Gwen who solved 50 division facts in one minute. They will set a new goal of solving 40, 50, or 60 division facts in one minute. |

Wednesday: On p. 462 (Review/Test), do problems 2, 7, 10, 19, and 20. On p. 463, do problems 6 and 7.
Thursday: Study the Geometry vocabulary and formulas packet and your two Geometry study guides for the Unit 2 Assessment tomorrow.
