Dr. Michael Doran-In May Wootton students took a total of 2679 A.P. exams in 29 different subjects totalling 1278 students. However, Wootton offers much more and they immersed themselves in the incredible music and drama programs. Our S.T.A.R.S., Humanities and College Institute, our Internships, the Education and Information Technology Academies, all serve on a daily basis as testimony to the fact A.P.’s are only one measure of rigor.
In the past four years there has been a quiet Renaissance of our sports teams: four years ago we won two Division titles and zero Regional titles. This year we won 11 Division titles, 8 Regional titles and one State title. Now that’s improvement.
I know next year will be challenging on many levels, but as always it will also be ultimately satisfying. As I enter my sixth year at Wootton, I continue to feel blessed and privileged to be at a school with such great kids and such a professional faculty.

Mr. Edward Owusu--With great pride and enthusiasm I am proud and honored to be Assistant Principal at a school such as Wootton. I have been fortunate to be involved with communities and schools where principled parents, students, and staff work together to build a thriving environment for each other.  As a former classroom teacher, coach, and again as administrator I am fortunate to be surrounded by good people who care about children. You are invited to visit this fine school and see for yourself what we do everyday. At Wootton our pride is alive and well!

Ms. Carol Sander
Ms. Carol Sander- I am the tenth grade administrator here at Wootton High School. Before coming to Wootton I was a mathematics teacher and mathematics resource teacher. I have found everyone here at Wootton to be very helpful and welcoming, from students to staff to parents. My tenth graders are an energetic group who appear to be taking advantage of every moment of high school. They are involved and enthusiastic about both academic and extra curricular activities. I look forward to working closely with them until graduation ’2011.

Dr. Frank Critton--Hello, I am the Assistant Principal for the ninth grade. I work with the principal to manage the staff, students , materials, and money to provide all students with the best education possible. If attendance and attention are two sides of a triangle for academic success, then the third side is attitude. Practicing good attendance, paying attention, and a positive attitude will almost guarantee success in any situation..
Dr. Frank Critton

Ms. Renee Negin Ms. Renee Negin--It is hard for me to believe that "my" juniors are halfway through their high school experience. I have witnessed tremendous academic and personal growth in these young people. As I begin my seventh year at Wootton, it continues to be an honor for me to work with a very committed staff and dedicated parents and see incredible students who never cease to amaze me. I believe that every child can be successful and it is a pleasure for me to be part of a team who share that belief. This year I look forward again to working with the class of 2010 or as their T-shirt says, “Perfect 10!”
