Congratulations to Mr. Don Ayotte of Wootton's Science Department. He won the NIST Chapter of Sigma Xi Outstanding High School Science Teacher award. This award recognizes his outstanding work in motivating high school students to learn and appreciate science, in particular Chemistry. He will be presented with a certificate and monetary award May 24, 2007, a t a dinner reception.

Winning Science Bowl Team 2006

2/26/2006--Please congratulate the Science Bowl Team for winning the Maryland/Delaware Regional Science bowl competition this weekend! Team members are seniors David Chen, Tessa Carducci, David Farkas, John Hooff and junior Andrew Shie. The team was phenomenal - undefeated in every match (and they beat Blair twice!) The team will now compete in two months in the National competition having won their all-expense paid trip to ---  Washington, D.C.
