Hello! This is Jeanie Dawson, Principal of Wood MS.  We would like to inform you of the most important dates and events that will occur for the week of January 9th!

First, On January 9th, Rockville High School counselors visited 8th graders through their science classes to discuss course registration and transitioning to high school. So parents, please look for registration cards for 8th grade students.

Secondly, on Tuesday, January 10th, Wood MS will have three events occurring that evening:

1. The PTA Meeting will be held at 7:00pm in the Media Center for all parents to be a part of the PTA and give input to all the activities and events. Please join and become active in participation.
2. The second event will be the Science 8 Webinar for the Earth Space Systems Exam Review. This webinar will be held on-line at 7:00pm for 8th grade Science students.
3. The Third event is the Introduction to Engineering Webinar for the IED Exam Review to be held on-line from 7-8pm.

Next, on Wednesday, January 11th, Wood MS will have two Webinars for Math:

1. The Honors Geometry Exam Review Webinar will be on-line at 6:15pm
2. The Algebra 1A Exam Review Webinar will be held at 6:30pm

Finally, on Thursday, January 12th at 7:00 pm, Rockville High School will be hosting their annual 8th Grade Parent Articulation Meeting.  Please be sure to attend in order to meet Rockville staff and learn about various course options and programs.
