Leader Biographies

Ms. Kucharski's 2nd Grade Class

As part of their Social Studies curriculum, 2nd grade did a research project on leaders. Each student picked a leader and researched details about their lives. Students filled in a graphic organizer which asked them to find biographical information such as where and when they were born and why they were considered leaders. Then they looked for events in their person's lives and decided what character traits they might represent. To present their information, students created slides in Pixie (drawing software). Each presentation was displayed in a slide show for the rest of the class to view. The following are slides from their presentations.
