About Us

Wood Acres Elementary School was first constructed in 1952 on donated land. In 1975, the school was renovated and a new gymnasium was added. Our next renovation began in the summer of 2001 and was finished in August 2002. An eight room addition was completed in 2016.   In 2017 our student population expanded as we became a home to special education preschool classes (PEP).

Our mascot is the Wildcat, and our school colors are royal blue and white!
