GOAL:

The goal of the Spanish Honor Society is to promote interest and understanding of Spanish and the Spanish speaking world. The Spanish Honor Society recognizes students who are academically talented in the Spanish Language.

EVENTS:

  • Tutoring in Spanish
  • Cultural events outside of school

REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS:

  • In order to receive cords at graduation, you must be taking AP Spanish or Spanish 5 in your senior year or have taken one of them prior to your senior year. You must also have an overall A average in Spanish.
  • You must be enrolled in Spanish for the following year.
  • You must complete Spanish 3 Honors by the end of the year of application.
  • If you are in level 3, you must have earned A's for the last three full semesters.
  • If you are in level 4, you must have an overall A average.
  • You must attend Spanish Honor Society meetings on the first Thursday of every month at lunch.
  • You must participate in two in and/or out of school Spanish Honor Society activities per semester.
