About NHS

The National Honor Society (NHS) was established in 1921 to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Applications for NHS membership are accepted in the fall of junior or senior year with induction in December. Meetings are held periodically during the year for NHS members.

The sponsor of WJ's NHS Chapter is Ms. Rebecca Robertson nhs@walterjohnson.com
