| The best way to help African Americans is by training them for jobs that will be accepted by the "white" public . This way, African Americans can build up economic strength, and then have a better position from which to advocate for further civil rights. | The best method to get rid of racial inequality
is to expose injustices to the public. This can be done
by writing pamphlets or to a local newspaper, or speaking in public. |
African Americans should be allowed to attend whatever school they wish, and should be allowed to take on any profession they wish. | African Americans should focus on getting rid of racial inequality
and injustice during reconstruction, before
they concentrate on anything else. |
