Students are to select an Inventor/Robber Barron/or Industrial Titan
from the Age of Industrialization
and construct a brochure describing the individual and their claim to fame.


PART I: Students are to provide a biographical sketch of their individual, complete with portrait or visual representation.

PART II: Students are to describe and explain the individual's invention, techniques, product, claim to fame, etc. by providing charts, diagrams, replicas, or any other information to support that claim.

PART III: Students are to describe the impact of the individual's invention, techniques, product, etc. and its effect on the Industrilization of America.

PART IV: Students are to prepare a brief oral presentation to
present to the class.

Apply gathered information to assigned project.

 

1.Research your topic using Library Orientation Information.
2. Each project MUST include a Primary Source, Secondary Source and an Internet Source which must be cited.
3. For each section, students must construct a summary/analysis of at least 75 words. Each brochure must contain visuals, diagrams, pictures, etc. which must cover more than 90% of the surface area. A detailed guide will be explained in class.


4. The Presentation is to be between THREE to FIVE minutes, and must include a technological component of the student's choosing. This must be first approved by Mr. Wiggins.
