Keep in mind that when you choose a topic you need to be specific and focus your research.  You should also pick a topic that is significant in European history.  The topic must be of limited scope in order to be able to do sufficient and efficient research.  Before you begin your project, you must develop a thesis for your research.

Use of Information: How will I record the information? This semester you may work alone or in a group of up to four students.  The students in the group must be from the same class.  Student projects of one or two students must last no less than five minutes and no more than ten minutes.  Student groups of three to four must last no less than ten minutes and no more than twenty minutes. 

This project must emphasis the use of visuals.  You will need to know and be able to explain your topic with minimal use of written material.  The visual presentation may contain no more than 200words (400 words if in a group of three to four students). There must be significant use of pictures, diagrams, charts, etc. to enhance the presentation and the understanding of your topic.

Each member of a group must equally share responsibilities in all areas of the project (research, planning and organizing, and presentation).  If necessary, students in a group will receive individual grades based on the equity of project responsibilities.
