Objective:
To research current information regarding a bacterial disease utilizing traditional and electronic media center resources.
Requirements:
· Each student will be assigned a type of bacterial
disease to research.
· Students are expected to conduct the library
research on their own.
· A 5 minute oral report will be required of each
student.
· Each presentation must be accompanied by a visual
(poster, video).
· Interviews with scientists that are studying
that particular disease are good sources of up-to-date
information.
· Students will only be allowed to read material
off written pages - 3" x "5 note cards will be permitted in the presentation.
· IN ADDITION, a 3-5 page double-spaced report
will be turned in on the day of the oral report. The report must
have five references and a bibliography. Two of the references must
be less than a year old.
· Make use of good web sites as well as information
in current magazines, newspapers, and journals.

2. Epidemiology of agent
3. Pathogensis of agent
4. Diagnosis of disease
5. Prevention and Control of disease
