Resources
The Library/Media Center offers an
extensive collection (more than 10,000 items) of print and non-print
resources including: books, magazines, newspapers, online reference
sources, CD-ROMS, video tapes, art prints, and more. The
Library/Media Center’s resources have been specifically selected to
support the school’s instructional program. Because of that focus,
we will usually have more resources on specific curriculum topics
than a public library. A copy machine is located in the Media
Center for student use. The cost per page for copies is $.15.
Computer Work
Stations
The Media Center has 56
computers available for student and staff use. Two of these
computers are connected to scanners. Teachers plan and schedule with
the Media Specialist for research units utilizing online references
and other library materials. Teachers may schedule the use of
computers for other than Media Center research activities on a
daily/weekly basis.
