ASSIGNMENT
-
Select a famous Spanish speaking person, living or dead:
king, author, singer,
composer, politician, explorer, Spanish teacher (chiste…),
etc. from the lists below.
Students must receive topic approval from the Instructor.

You are to video tape an "interview" with that person.
The interview must include:
a. Biographical information
b. Life experiences/persons that influenced the
person.
(good place for preterit vs.
Imperfect, p. G51, 58)
c. What person does/did to make him/her famous
(or infamous)
d. Thoughts, fears, hopes, regrets, predictions,
sage advice, etc.

audience.
e. Extensive use of the grammatical structures
from the killer verb chart (=KVC)
including WENDI
structures, p. G77 - 79, Sequence of tenses, p. G120,121,
each type of "Si"clause,
p. G 123, la voz pasiva, p. G66

The person being interviewed must be dressed in the style
of the famous Hispanic.

There must be visuals/music, etc. (e.g. a work of art,
photo/painting of aftermath of a famous battle, picture of his/her invention,
song /music playing in the background, etc.)

You must submit a transcript of the entire conversation,
with grammatical requirements underlined or highlighted.

The conversation must be memorized (or appear to the viewer
to be memorized…)

THE SHELVES
All computers in the library can access the Media Center's
Electronic Card Catalog. It is located on the Global Access Menu
under Media Center Programs. The Catalog identifies all the holdings
(books, etc.) of the WJHS Media Center. It is also possible to search
for materials on the MCPS
Library Catalog Online.Be sure to set
the limits of your search to Walter Johnson HS only.
