Getting Started:
To begin this project, think of a subject area that interests
you: math, science, literature, architecture, women’s roles, military,
etc. Then begin researching that subject area in relationship to the ancient
Greek culture. After reviewing basic information in that particular
area, narrow your topic to focus on one particular person, discovery, invention,
etc. Examine the example below:
theater
ancient Greek theater
theater construction during the Hellenistic
Age
Now you will have a topic for your report! More than one student may research a certain aspect of Greek life (sports, math, etc.), BUT each student should have a different focus. For example, two students may research Greek theater, but only one can research the actor Thespis.
