You will be responsible for:
• Conducting research on one of the relevant topics. There will be class time available, in the media center, to research your topic. You should, however, expect to spend some significant time collecting research on your own, outside of class.
• Presenting your research coherently in a type-written paper of six-to-eight (6-8) pages (double spaced) included all the required elements.
Topics for this paper focus around the novel
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey.

For this paper you will need at least six (6) sources:
• At least one (1) periodical or scholarly journal (may be printed or online);
• At least one (1) printed encyclopedia or other reference work;
• No more than two (2) websites;
• You may use personal interviews;
• You may photographs or relevant artwork;
• Novels, poems, song lyrics, and essays may be used as well.
Apply gathered information to assigned project.
Your final research paper will consist of several elements:
• An introduction and proposal (one-to-two paragraphs);
• An annotated bibliography;
• A reflections section (one-to-two paragraphs);
• Relevant appendices (no more than 3 pages that don’t count to the 6-8 pages).• Present your research coherently in a type-written paper of six-to-eight (6-8) pages (double spaced) including all the required elements.
