Please join Dr. Goodwin and the Stressbusters Committee on Wed, March 1st 7:30-9:00 in the Walt Whitman HS Auditorium for a panel discussion:

Mental Health Awareness and Teens: Empowering Parents

Come hear the powerful stories of teens who have experienced severe mental health challenges--along with a perspective from a parent of a teen with anxiety and depression.  Local adolescent expert and psychotherapist, Julie Bindeman, LCSW-c, will be available to outline ways parents can identify mental health concerns in their children and will offer advice about how parents can help.  Rounding out the panel will be Lauren Anderson, director of the Josh Anderson Foundation, an organization devoted to educating young people about depression and suicide.

Be sure to attend this important and compelling event.  We extend this invitation to the communities of Walt Whitman, Bethesda Chevy Chase and Walter Johnson.

Sponsored by the Josh Anderson Foundation, the Whitman Stressbusters and the Whitman SGA Mental Illness Awareness Week Committee
