General Information

Food, beverages, and electronic devices of any kind are not allowed. Students are requested to return chairs and library materials to their proper places. They are also requested to respect others and maintain a level of conversation which allows everyone to read, research, and study without distraction.

Hours

The Media Center is open from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on school days. It is closed occasionally during lunch for class use. Except when using the Media Center with a class, during lunch, or after school, students are required to bring a pass signed by a teacher or an administrator.

Loan Policy

Students may check out up to four books and magazines for two weeks. Materials may be renewed if no one else has asked for them. Students must show a Student ID to check out materials. Overdue notices are posted at the end of each marking period. Students must reconcile library obligations before they can receive their report cards. Video cameras and other AV equipment can be checked out by staff for classroom use.

Other Services

The Media Center offers bibliographies, unlimited access to a laser printer, and use of an overhead transparency maker. Also, students can get Xerox copies for 20 cents/page and unlimited access to laser printers.
